Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Guest Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests and resolve complex inquiries or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate weekend staff to maintain high standards of service and compliance with company policies.
- Security & Safety: Conduct nightly security rounds, inspect the property for maintenance needs, and ensure fire safety protocols are followed.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage front-of-house supplies and amenities to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Revenue Management: Assist in maximizing room revenue through effective upselling and occupancy management strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed shift reports, including occupancy rates and revenue summaries, for the general manager.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk management or a related hospitality role.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or similar software.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to think critically and solve problems under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
