Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution of services across front-of-house and back-of-house departments.
- Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction by personally resolving complex issues and implementing service recovery strategies.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, forecast revenue, and analyze financial reports to drive profitability and cost control initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and promotional activities to enhance the hotel's market position.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies regarding health, safety, and security.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality standards and competitive pricing.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Certification: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; PMP or CHA certification is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational efficiency.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
