Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport guest luggage and belongings using wheeled carts
- Provide personalized assistance with room orientations and local recommendations
- Coordinate with valet and front desk teams for seamless guest transitions
- Maintain pristine luggage storage areas and security protocols
- Assist with special event setups and VIP guest services
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards immediately
- Uphold brand standards through professional appearance and demeanor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of Detroit landmarks and attractions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification preferred
