Responsibilities
- Provide warm, personalized luggage assistance and portering services for hotel guests
- Assist with guest check-in/check-out procedures using hotel management systems
- Act as primary point of contact for guest inquiries, restaurant reservations, and local recommendations
- Coordinate transportation arrangements including taxis, rideshares, and tour bookings
- Maintain pristine lobby and public area standards through continuous monitoring
- Collaborate with concierge and housekeeping teams for seamless guest experiences
- Handle special requests such as event setup, package deliveries, and VIP assistance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in luxury hospitality or guest services role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with professional demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
- Deep knowledge of Washington DC attractions, dining, and transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred
