Responsibilities
- Safely transport guest luggage to/from rooms using wheeled carts
- Provide warm welcomes and directional guidance to arriving guests
- Assist with valet parking and vehicle retrieval
- Deliver in-room amenities and special requests promptly
- Maintain clean, organized lobby and bell desk areas
- Collaborate with front desk for seamless guest check-ins
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old (no experience required)
- Valid CA work permit and state ID required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Outstanding customer service attitude and smile
- Reliable transportation to downtown Oakland location
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic English communication skills
- Team player with proactive problem-solving mindset
