Responsibilities
- Manage daily front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures and reservation management
- Train and mentor new staff on service standards and hotel systems
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless property operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain service quality
- Assist in developing promotional strategies to drive occupancy and revenue
- Prepare daily reports on occupancy rates, guest feedback, and operational metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- 0-2 years hotel or customer service experience
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Illinois driver's license (for property errands)
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism landscape
