Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and staff scheduling
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures and guest satisfaction protocols
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for optimal occupancy
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism
- Assist in financial reporting including revenue tracking and budget adherence
- Collaborate with sales team on group bookings and event coordination
- Train and mentor new staff members on service standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Basic knowledge of hospitality accounting principles
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Texas Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
