Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and check-in/check-out efficiency
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for front desk and concierge teams
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and discretion
- Monitor room inventory, occupancy rates, and revenue management strategies
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food service departments for seamless operations
- Implement and maintain brand standards and quality assurance protocols
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Boston tourism market and local attractions
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (for occasional errands)
