Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure operational excellence
- Assist in developing and implementing guest experience enhancement programs
- Monitor room inventory and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Train and mentor junior staff on service standards and operational protocols
- Resolve guest concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction scores
- Collaborate with sales department to support group bookings and events
- Contribute to monthly performance reports and operational improvement plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years hotel operations or customer service experience preferred
- Strong leadership potential with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Valid Texas Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of local tourism attractions and transportation
