Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations including check-in/out procedures and guest concierge services
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for 10+ team members
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and discretion
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate with housekeeping for optimal occupancy rates
- Implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure brand standards are maintained
- Collaborate with marketing team to drive local tourism partnerships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of hotel operations experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Oregon Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic financial reporting and budget management experience
