Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries
- Coordinate housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and implement solutions for service recovery
- Assist in managing staff schedules, performance evaluations, and training initiatives
- Monitor inventory control for guest amenities and operational supplies
- Collaborate with sales team on group bookings and event coordination
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and brand standards
- Prepare daily reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and guest feedback
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of hotel operations experience with internship or part-time background preferred
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Valid California Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Spanish (highly desirable for diverse clientele)
- Basic understanding of revenue management principles
