Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations, check-in/check-out processes, and guest concierge services
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for 8-12 team members
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and discretion
- Monitor room inventory, occupancy rates, and revenue optimization strategies
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments for seamless operations
- Implement brand standards and service excellence protocols
- Assist in budget preparation and monthly financial reporting
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years hotel or luxury customer service experience preferred
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid North Carolina Food Protection Manager certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of hotel revenue management and P&L statements
