Responsibilities
- Monitor daily front desk operations, ensuring seamless check-in/check-out processes and exceptional guest experiences
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B teams to maintain operational standards
- Assist in revenue management strategies including rate optimization and occupancy analysis
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues with empathy and efficiency
- Train and mentor front desk staff on service protocols and brand standards
- Conduct daily staff briefings and performance reviews
- Prepare operational reports for senior management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years hotel operations experience (internships or part-time roles accepted)
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, PMS)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NYC Food Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
