Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of housekeeping associates to ensure top-tier service standards and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to guarantee strict compliance with brand standards and health codes.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, placing orders to prevent shortages.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and special amenity arrangements to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Oversee the daily scheduling and workflow of the department to maximize productivity and staff utilization.
- Ensure all safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and sanitation practices are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to resolve guest issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping management or a supervisory role within a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and proper sanitation techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality certification is a plus.
