Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify and resolve maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
- Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and brand standards.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinating with the purchasing department to prevent stockouts.
- Maintain accurate records of room status, occupancy rates, and staff schedules.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints regarding housekeeping services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision or management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of personal grooming and professional appearance.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with property management systems.
- Valid Nevada food handler's and alcohol awareness cards (if applicable to role).
