Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect all housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to brand standards and cleanliness protocols.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Manage room status updates and communicate effectively with the front desk and reservations team regarding availability.
- Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and safety procedures (OSHA compliance).
- Order and inventory housekeeping supplies, ensuring cost-effective management of the department budget.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests regarding room amenities and cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all security and safety policies are followed to protect guests and employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision or management within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy furniture or equipment when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in hospitality is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
