Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage, train, and motivate a team of Housekeeping Attendants, Supervisors, and Laundry Staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, immediately addressing any deficiencies or maintenance issues.
- Develop and manage cleaning schedules and staffing levels to ensure optimal efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies, and coordinate purchasing with the Purchasing Department.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests regarding room amenities and services with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably within a 4 or 5-star luxury hotel environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using Property Management Systems (PMS) and standard cleaning equipment.
