Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with concierge services including local recommendations and transportation arrangements
- Execute upselling strategies for room upgrades and premium services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service experience in hospitality or similar field
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Louisville attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for airport runs)
