The North Loop Hotel is seeking a dynamic and professional Front Desk Agent to be the face of our brand. We pride ourselves on delivering world-class guest experiences in the vibrant North Loop district. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will manage guest arrivals, ensure smooth operations at the front desk, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps our guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Operations Support: Handle incoming calls, respond to guest inquiries via email and chat, and resolve issues promptly to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Reception Management: Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, manage the lobby bulletin board, and ensure all lobby amenities are stocked and functional.
- Booking Management: Assist with reservations, coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness, and manage key card issuance and tracking.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or special requests with grace and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception, or customer service is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and property management software.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
