Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and check in/out guests with efficiency and professionalism
- Manage reservation systems and handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Utilize property management software (Opera) for daily operations
- Act as a local Detroit ambassador, providing recommendations and assistance
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with learning new software
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and passion for customer service
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license preferred (for local errands)
