Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/out processes using hotel software (Opera PMS)
- Handle reservations, modifications, and VIP requests
- Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues to management
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Train junior staff on standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with sales team on group bookings
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid North Carolina Food Handler's certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Basic knowledge of Charlotte attractions and events
