Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Address guest inquiries with professionalism and problem-solving skills
- Process payments and manage billing discrepancies
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Operate PMS software and maintain daily reports
- Upsell hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue
- Handle emergency situations calmly and per protocol
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Basic knowledge of Columbus attractions and transportation
