Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Services: Handle inquiries regarding local attractions, restaurant recommendations, and hotel amenities with accuracy and enthusiasm.
- Communication: Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and transfer calls to the appropriate department promptly.
- Reservations: Assist with reservation modifications and cancellations as needed to maximize room occupancy.
- Security: Monitor front desk area to ensure the safety of guests and property, following all security protocols.
- Administrative: Maintain the lobby area, manage mail and packages, and complete daily shift reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy, particularly with Windows and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attitude: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
