Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using OPERA property management system
- Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues proactively using problem-solving techniques
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet teams for seamless operations
- Upsell room packages, dining experiences, and local attractions
- Maintain accurate guest records and financial transactions
- Ensure lobby area remains immaculate and welcoming
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (OPERA preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license (for valet coordination)
- Basic knowledge of San Jose attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
