Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently with warm, personalized service
- Manage reservations using Opera PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to guests
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Basic knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs for baggage handling
