Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and poise.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience, empathy, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and checks, ensuring strict adherence to financial controls.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Collaborate closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and amenities are stocked.
- Assist with concierge duties, including providing recommendations for local attractions and dining.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
