Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, checking them in efficiently and ensuring a smooth check-out process.
- Guest Inquiries: Respond to guest questions regarding hotel services, local attractions, and dining recommendations with accuracy and enthusiasm.
- Reservation Management: Assist with managing room reservations, handling special requests, and updating guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Answer incoming calls promptly, manage the front desk switchboard, and relay messages accurately to staff members.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor the lobby area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues professionally and escalate complex matters to the manager immediately.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with processing payments, printing folios, and maintaining accurate daily logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Software: Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professionalism: A neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude are essential.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
