Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using property management systems
- Handle multi-line phone inquiries and provide detailed local attraction recommendations
- Process payments, manage cash drawer, and resolve billing discrepancies
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with room assignments and special requests using Opera software
- Maintain immaculate front desk appearance and organize guest documentation
- Respond promptly to guest concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 2+ years experience in customer service or hotel front desk operations
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively during peak check-in periods
- Basic accounting knowledge and cash handling experience
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and passion for exceeding guest expectations
