Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional check-in/check-out services and manage guest reservations with precision
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet services to ensure seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities, packages, and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
- Utilize property management systems (e.g., Opera, Marriott) efficiently
Qualifications
- 1+ years of hotel front desk or customer service experience required
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid New York State driver's license preferred
- Basic knowledge of NYC tourism and attractions
