Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a memorable first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and grace, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and ensure accurate room availability for walk-ins.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar guest service role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing.
