Responsibilities
- Seamlessly manage guest check-in/check-out processes using our property management system
- Proactively resolve guest inquiries and concerns with personalized solutions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate billing records
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain meticulous cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Collaborate with concierge team to arrange transportation and special requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
