Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while verifying reservations and payment methods
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle inquiries, and process guest requests
- Operate property management software (Opera/PMS) and maintain accurate records
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and collaborate with housekeeping/bell staff
- Upsell hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest stays
- Process payments, manage cash handling procedures, and balance daily reports
- Maintain a clean, organized lobby area and assist with luggage handling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and cash handling accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Indianapolis attractions and transportation
- Must pass background check and drug screening
