Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our property management system (PMS).
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle cash, credit card, and check payments accurately, balancing daily reports.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist with coordinating room service, housekeeping, and maintenance requests.
- Enforce hotel policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for all.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a front desk, guest services, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage (up to 25 lbs).
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
