Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-in/check-out processes using Opera property management system
- Handle reservation modifications, cancellations, and room assignments
- Respond to guest inquiries with personalized solutions and local recommendations
- Process payments, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain financial accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and security teams for flawless operations
- Resolve guest complaints with empathy and proactive problem-solving
- Upsell hotel amenities and special packages to enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license (if required for valet duties)
- Basic knowledge of San Francisco attractions and transportation
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
