Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/out procedures while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries with personalized solutions and local recommendations
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and resolve billing discrepancies
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet services to ensure guest satisfaction
- Uphold brand standards through professional appearance and exemplary service delivery
- Handle emergency situations calmly and follow established protocols
- Utilize property management software (Opera) for all front desk operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera/PMS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation systems
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if required for valet duties)
