As a Front Desk Agent, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire stay. You will manage the front desk operations, handle reservations, and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, utilizing a positive and welcoming demeanor to ensure a great first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, verifying guest information and processing payments accurately using hotel PMS software.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions in Colorado Springs.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with poise and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the Manager on Duty when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces to uphold our high standards of presentation.
- Assist with concierge services, providing recommendations for dining, entertainment, and outdoor activities.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and common areas are in pristine condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, guest services, or hospitality role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during peak check-in times.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingual skills are highly desirable.
