Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Operate the hotel switchboard and PBX system to answer inquiries and transfer calls professionally.
  • Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints and requests with empathy and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Administrative Duties: Post charges to guest accounts, manage room keys, and maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports.
  • Security & Safety: Monitor lobby areas to ensure guest safety and property security at all times.
  • Information Provision: Provide accurate information regarding local attractions, directions, and hotel services to maximize guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business coursework is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous front desk or guest services experience in a hotel or resort setting preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are highly desirable.
