Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk environment and manage key inventory
- Utilize reservation systems to manage room availability and special requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience, preferably in hotel or hospitality
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with multilingual abilities a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution techniques
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on rotating schedules
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
