Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes with precision and warmth
- Handle reservation inquiries and modify bookings using PMS software
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to management
- Process payments accurately and maintain secure cash handling protocols
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for room readiness
- Upsell hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain organized front desk records and shift documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail in financial transactions
- Basic knowledge of Wichita attractions and transportation options
- Valid Kansas driver's license (if required for guest shuttle duties)
