Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and baggage handling with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Greet every guest with a warm, professional demeanor to create a welcoming first impression.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Process payments and handle guest requests, such as restaurant reservations or transportation arrangements, ensuring high satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and public areas are pristine and well-maintained.
- Uphold strict safety and security protocols to protect both guests and hotel assets.
- Stay updated on local Memphis attractions and events to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; hospitality or customer service certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or guest services role is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic applicants.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (PMS) is highly desirable.
