Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable stay by providing professional, efficient, and courteous service.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet all visitors and guests warmly with a smile and a professional demeanor.
- Answer incoming phone calls, manage the front desk switchboard, and relay messages promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation with a high level of knowledge.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk lobby and common areas.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues immediately and escalate complex matters to the manager when necessary.
- Process laundry requests, manage room service orders, and coordinate with housekeeping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations, customer service, or reception is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
