Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing information accurately using hotel PMS software.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with concierge services, including local recommendations and transportation arrangements.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; prior hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
