Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions with strict accuracy.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and mail distribution.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy and a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a front desk or reception role is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
