Responsibilities
- Guest Reception: Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software.
- Inquiries & Assistance: Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel services.
- Operations Support: Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and manage room keys and folios.
- Communication: Relay important messages and requests to the housekeeping and maintenance teams promptly.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to ensure a professional appearance.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or issues with patience and professionalism, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn proprietary hotel PMS software.
- Attitude: A positive, energetic, and service-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
