As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and comfortable during their stay. Join us in creating memorable experiences in the heart of Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, checking them in efficiently while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.
- Reservations Management: Process incoming reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms accurately.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to guest inquiries via chat or email, and relay messages promptly.
- Security & Access: Verify guest identities, issue room keys/access cards, and ensure the safety and security of the property and guests.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the front desk area, handle cash transactions, and manage daily logs and reports.
- Problem Resolution: Assist guests with any issues during their stay, escalating complex situations to management when necessary.
- Upselling: Inform guests of hotel amenities, dining options, and special promotions to enhance their stay.
Qualifications
- Attitude Over Experience: A friendly, outgoing, and customer-centric personality is required; prior hospitality experience is not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn hotel property management systems quickly.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs (e.g., luggage or equipment).
- Professional Appearance: A neat, professional appearance that aligns with our hospitality standards.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
