Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
- Communication: Manage a high volume of incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments using our electronic health record (EHR) system and confirm appointments via phone.
- Administrative Support: Handle mail, distribute faxes, and maintain the front reception area to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Data Entry: Accurately update patient information and process new registrations into our database.
- Coordination: Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role is preferred but not required (Entry Level Friendly).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite and professional phone manner.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards.
