Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional greeting to all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently, escalating complex issues to management while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Reservations Management: Manage the hotel’s reservation system (PMS) to update room statuses, process bookings, and accommodate special requests.
- Security and Safety: Conduct safety briefings, monitor lobby areas, and adhere to all hotel security protocols and fire regulations.
- Payment Processing: Process payments accurately using the POS system and prepare accurate folios for guests.
- Shift Coordination: Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
- Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Certificate in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we train enthusiastic candidates who are eager to learn.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS) is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and move around the lobby area freely.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for customer service.
