Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS), ensuring all paperwork and payments are processed accurately.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails promptly, answering questions regarding reservations, amenities, and local Sacramento attractions.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with a smile, ensuring a 100% satisfaction rate.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front desk and lobby area at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
- Process payments, handle cash deposits, and balance daily receipts.
- Assist with luggage handling and transportation coordination for guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a polished appearance.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation software.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
