Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments and verifying identification with the highest level of accuracy.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls promptly, respond to guest inquiries via email or in-person, and relay messages accurately to relevant departments.
- Administrative Support: Maintain the front desk area in pristine condition, manage guest mail, process faxes, and handle daily cash reconciliation.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with local recommendations, restaurant reservations, and transportation arrangements to enhance their stay.
- Safety & Security: Monitor security cameras, secure the property, and follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or reception role within the hospitality industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous tone.
- Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity, reliability, and the ability to work well under pressure during peak check-in times.
- Language: Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.
