Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments for seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities, rooms, and local experiences to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
- Conduct security procedures and follow emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Basic knowledge of Philadelphia attractions and transportation
- Valid Pennsylvania Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
